This is a picture I found of an Oliver 995 lug-o-matic that has been turned into a dirt pan. I dont think the factory did that, but it looks good. Bet you never see two of them sitting togeather....

Yes, it's a factory unit. Oliver bought the Euclid company in around 1953, if memory serves, giving the company access to all sorts of construction tools, including pan scrapers which they integrated with the 995 as you see there. Nice unit. Thanks for the picture!!

Are you 100% sure that Oliver bought Euclid? I have been around lots of old Euclid and Terex equipment, and just about all of it will have "GM" cast into that major parts. GM owned Euclid-Terex for quite some time, and i have looked at a couple books about the history of Euclid-Terx, and I never saw anything about Oliver owning them at some time.

Also. I am just about 100% sure that Euclid was much larger than Oliver, so it doesnt stand to reason that Oliver would be able to buy Euclid.

I thought Oliver used Be-Ge scrapers? Isn't that one of the 995 speedhauls like the one in the Oliver Photo Archive book?

I know of one in NC but it has a clutch no convertor it has been parted the pan is in one place and the tractor got a front axle put under it and was used to pull with.It is a factory unit Dave

I believe they are factory,I have the chasis of the tractor part of one I picked up a few years ago.

There is an operating 995 pan scraper at Auburn Indiana owned by Jim Dafforn . I ,v e never seen it running but do know they have run it to move sand at thier farm for a new shed he also has an industrial type tractor using big tires that would have pulled a packer .
