I am looking at a 10'8" 24 disc taylor-way heavy harrow to pull with my 1650 gas. The owner of the harrow say's he pulled it well with a 1200 model David Brown which was rated @ 65hp. Would this harrow be too much for the 1650? Any input would be appreciated!

When i had my 1650D hooked to my long 8ft offset disc i had lots of slipage and had to work the hydrolic lever constantly to keep moveing. I have 15.5 38 tires and wieght of 10000 pounds.I had power but it was tough going. That disc gives the 1850 a workout.

C. H Wendels' book says when they came out of the factory they were required to deliver no less than 66 pto horsepower. You got a great tractor, hang onto it!
