wanted to rephrase the question i asked a couple
days ago on the board.

i would like the expert opinions of the oliver
owners who use this board. can i pull a 6-ft
bush hog with my oliver 60.

the application would be 35 acres of grazed
pasture -- fairly clean, very few stumps and rocks.

i know that a 6-ft bush hog would be rated for
probably 40 horse or higher, but even a 5-footer
would be rated at 25 horse or higher. if i go strictly by the ratings of the implements, i can't
pull anything.

opinions, please..... ...

I think that you can do the 6 ft. if you stay out of tall heavy grass and keep to the lower gears. we pull a 6fter with a mh22 - 20 hp?
you may need a over running clutch attachment to put on the pto(don't think the 60 had live pto)
