I guess i have the heat licked. I was able to run all day today.I removed all the valves and could see no problems except that the relief seemed to have allmost no compression on the spring.I added some warshers.I allso lowered the pump preasure to 1600. It all seems to work.Larry

Glad to hear it, Larry. That relief valve thing might have been it. The slack spring could have allowed leakage by the valve and thus overworking the pump and making it heat. I pretty sure that's it because if it was the pump you would still have overheat.
