Oliver White??

I was painting a tractor cab to put on my 1855 the Oliver white that I got from the AgCo dealer, Clover White. But it seems to be an off white, kinda creamy white, i guess like the color of most computor plastic. Is this right?? My other 50 and 55 series Olivers have a much brighter white on them, almost an IH white, and the cab I am painting was a lot brighter white. Maybe they are painted wrong or is the paint I am using wrong?? Hmmmmm m Is there more than one white color that Oliver used??

I put some of that clover white from agco on our 550 it looked on the green side but befor we got it back in the shed working on it outside some of that 90 degree bright sun hit it and it dont look bad know.

I've restored several Oliver toy tractors and pedal tractors using the clover white from my Agco dealer. It does have a hint of green to it.
That is the right color. It has been that color on original rims before I repaint them.

I just bought some clover white from an auto parts dealer and it does have a greenish tent to it. i was going to buy some reg white paint to save a few $$ this could have been what happen with your other tractors? after all it is called clover white and clovers are not white are they???

When I was painting my 880 I painted all the white first, I does have a light green cast to it. I painted a piece of green and held it up to it and it makes the white look white. Try it see if you see the same or maybe i need some new contact lenses. JT

I don't think there was more than Clover white for the tractors, but I have seen a Clover white that really had a green cast to it. I don't think the original was quite so green. It might be worth the time and money to get some at an auto parts that will custom mix it. If it is not exactly the shade you want they can adjust the mix so you are happy. WB.

Shep I painted rims and grill with clover white from Oliver dealer in Austin Tx. Like the clover white better than the regular white some guys put on the Ollies.
