I have an oliver 60 and the engine is covered with oil. I think it is likely the valve cover gasket that is leaking but I suppose it could be something else. Any guesses as to what it likely is? Where could I get a valve cover gasket in Canada? If nobody knows about Canada, how about the US? If they are not available from a retailer, what do you think about me going to a gasket shop and having one made?

hi rod. if you don't find a gasket you can make one from gasket material (peeve mart or can tire)or use a silicone gasket replacer.did you find a muffler yet? john

Rod,
Where are you in Canada? There is a White dealer in Everson, Washington, just below the BC border. If you can't find a dealer near you, email me.

Our farm is at Millet, Alberta, just outside of Edmonton. I'm sure there is a White dealer in Edmonton and there is an AGco dealer in Millet so I think I'll be able to get the gasket.

Rod you probably do have a valve cover gasket leaking, they are made of cork and as they get old they have a tendency to leak. To find a gasket do a search on your computer for White Dealerships when you find it and get into the portion that ask for your zip code type it in and it will list the 3 closest dealers to you. Any one of these dealers should be able to get you a valve cover gasket. Good Luck Shadetree.
