I purchased my second COCKSHUTT 30 at a auction sale. I assummed that it had an independent pto like my first 30 did. I was wrong. The pto only works when the wheels are moving. Is this rare or common, I have not seen any like it since?

The early ones could have the non-live pto option I have only seen one restored and I have a parts machine that has the non-continuous pto. To quote the manual"the non-continuous pto recieves its drive from the rear spined portion of the transmission main shaft" I always thought that it would make a Different option on a show tractor ,useless , but different!
