I am restoring an OC-46 loader with serial number 1WR712 but I can't find the year of manufacture.

The service manual (published under the White name and dated 1962) that came with the crawler says that the OC-4 serial number started with 1WR000 and the OC-46 loaders "started with serial number 1WR700". All the other lists I have seen don't even cover the early serial numbers.

Does anyone out there have a list that covers the early production?????

OC4 / OC46 Tractors used the same serial numbers, model 46 indicated that the tractor left the factory with a front loader. First OC4 were 1957 and all built in 57 were diesel (118 built). 1958 production gas tractors were serial number 1WR001 to 2WR540. Your tractor is a 1958 built in Cleveland, OH. Above is the serial number range for 1958, your claim that your tractor is the 13th one built may be correct.
