Oliver Super 55 ( external) remote control valve

In my super 55 shop manual it talks about an external control valve that can be mounted on the side of the tractor. I have looked all over and I can't find anyone who has a valve to sell to me. I figured I could just tap in where the valve goes and put on my own valve but I only get about 90 psi out of the taps. I don't think 90 psi will run any hydraulic rams. Am I doing something wrong?
