The parts finally got here for the 2150 Ollie. Overnight Fed Ex valve seats from Ohio to Virginia takes 5 days, and I am payin for this?? Grrrrr .. Worked in the shop all day Sat. stopped long enough to eat a sandwitch through greasy hands (that bread was white??) and fianally about 3:00pm she roared to life. Jumpin up and down was so excited!!! Fixed two small leaks and put the sheet metal on her, to go down to the other farm and pressure wash all the shop mess off of her before it gets dark. Got out on the highway and opened her up for the first time, but forgot that the reason that it was in the shop was because of oil in the manifolds from the old turbo. Ran about 200 yards at 3/4 throddle down the road and started feeling sharp pains on my arms and face-- aaaahhhhh Hot oil burning out of the exhaust pipe and spitting back on me!! Quickly grabbed the throddle and eased it the rest of the way down the road. Looked like I had been shot in the face with a shotgun full of oil. Let in run for two hours while washing it off and figured all the oil was gone right?? WRONG. Covered me up on the way back too. How long is this going to take to burn up all that old oil in the pipes??? Guess I am going to have to work the tractor and get it good and hot before all the oil is gone. What a day.. but it was fun!! Got back to the house and for some reason the place was filled with laughtor, Guess they thought my face looked good????

I think you still have a leak. All the old stuff should have been gone.Do you know if it was oil or diesel mixed with old soot.

No, I dont think it is still leaking Larry, the old turbo bearing went out and it dumped a pile of oil into the manifolds and the stack. I tried to get as much out as I could, but you could still see the oil in there when I put the new turbo on. I was running it last evening and it has all but quit throwing oil now. Thanks for the concern.

I suggest a stack turned out to the side! That way it will oil the roadside! Seriously, I hope nothing permanent to your face. How about that dyno test? Also, when you get into some serious work, all of us wannabe owners would love to se a "working" pic! Also, a sound bite would be way too much fun.

As soon as I get it in the field this spring I will try to take some pictures of it ripping up the ground. No damage to me, lots of oil spots on the hood and fenders, yuck..

I want to break it running a manure spreader for a few hours, then take it to town and have a friend of my Dyno and maybe even turn it a little, I will let you know the results.
