Went to a local auction and they had a 1550 gas with a bush hog loader on it, not a quicktach. It was in fair shape, someone messed with the steering and had welded two hydro cylinders to the tierods to steer it, but it had good tires and sounded good. I was kinda interested to see what it would bring. They sold that tractor for $5,200. I was suprised it brought that much, do those little tractors sell like that everywhere else??

They don't bring that kind of money around here (Pacific Northwest)- but the problem is, you don't see very many. A decent 1850 with GB loader went through a local consignment auction for $2,500 the other day. There's no AGCO dealer around any more, and people haven't gotten used to just buying a parts manual and shopping by UPS. It's really just as easy as the old days, because they always had to order it anyhow, which meant another trip to town.

I was bidding on a 1550 2 years ago, fresh out of overhaul and they had the paperwork, it ending up going for $4100. $5200 seems to be very high, given the cobbled up steering.
