I have an oliver 550 diesl was wondering who made the motor that year can't seem to find out who made it? can someone give me an email with some info?

Oliver casted there own engine blocks , along with other parts. Oliver then sent the engine blocks to Waukesha engine for bal. of engine work. The completed engines were then sent back to Oliver for installation in the tractors. Actually , both Oliver and Waukesha built the engines. But , I have always known them called the "Waukesha engine".

thought maybe it was an easy motor to get parts for but maybe not:-( need the preheaters for it? anyone know where to get them?

You can try any ACGO dealer for oliver parts. If you think you local ACGO dealer is high or dont have one I use Maibach Tractor, located in Creston Oh., seam to be very reasonable. Number is 1-800-939-4192, or (330)-939-4192 if you dont like 1-800 numbers..
