I have a 1950 Oliver 66 row crop with a narrow front. I am interested in changing it over to a wide front and am wondering if anyone has every done this and if so is it difficult?

the changeover is not that tough as BA has said.

actually finding a wide front to go on it is considerably tougher.

There are two versions of the adjustable front axle. Both are easy to install. Just raise the front end, unbolt the narrow front and replace. If you are getting one from another tractor be sure you get the front steering shaft as it is shorter then narrow front (at least on the later version).
