Every one I've seen are clark axles. However I have heard that oliver had tried several different ones one the 1800 A and 1900 A series. I'm pretty sure the 1600 was a clark. Good luck. Please post if you find out.

I've never heard of FWA on the A series tractors. I thought that they didn't come out with them until the B series tractors.

Our 1900 "A" had a Clark just like our 1800"B" has.
