66 rear frame super 66 front frame ?

i have a 66 with plates on the frount frame so i asume its a super, but the serial number on the rear below the right brake pedel does not match up with the super models and does with the row crop, my # 423015c, my question is will the rear of a 66 fit the frount frame of a super 66?

You did not give enough information. Is your tractor a row-crop or a standard. The standards have front frame mounting blocks near the front of the frame sides. The row-crops have no mounting blocks on the frame anywear. The supers in a row-crop have the mounting pads on the front frame just ahead of the front cultivating hole in frame , and just behind the back cultivating hole in the frame.

I had wondered the same thing (maybe a standard or
industrial tractor). But according to my book and
the serial number posted, it is a row crop tractor.

I don't have a serial number book handy, but if your tratcor is a 66 more than likely sometime in it's life the original frame broke. In the time frame that the frame broke Oliver was probilly building super 66's or 660's, and the 66 parts book sub. over the 66 frame to a super 66 frame.
I wouldn't be to concerned about having a super 66 frame on a 66. I have seen a couple 66's like this. It makes a person look at the tractor twice.
