Does anyone know where we could get a backhoe attachment to go on our 1650 Oliver? What might be the price range? We live in northeastern North Carolina, near Norfolk, VA. Advice will be appreciated!

If you are just looking for a backhoe, you could probably use a standard 3-point hitch backhoe like a Bush Hog, Woods, or Kelley. It would be a little pricey, 7 or 8 grand new. These backhoes have their own hydraulics that work off the PTO, or else you can use the tractor hydraulics. Most tractor dealers of any size can get one. There are three dealers near where I live up here in the boonies of Northern NY so I am sure in your area you should do even better. If you want an Oliver backhoe, I can't help there.
Hope this helps
