Sheppards new toy makes me wonder how big did they get.Saw a articulated 4x4 cockshutt with the same style sheet metal,assume they painted them green as well.

There were two articulated 4x4 Olivers the 2455 and the 2655 both close to 130 Hp. The biggest wheel tractor that carried the oliver name was the 2255 at 145Hp. There were two built in '71?? 2055 and 2155 that were 120 and 140Hp and were built by Moline and carried the Oliver nameplate. Then there was the 2050 and the 2150 that were 113Hp and 135Hp. These were built in '68 and '69 and were the first real big Oliver tractors.

The 2255 and 2655 where just about equal in hp. AT first their tests showed about 143 hp, after 1977 the formula was changed for figuring hp.The later books show the 2255 as 147pto hp and the 2655 as 146pto hp. Its easy to add the big crank and other parts and make the 2255 210hp.I have a 2655 too.
