I am wondering if replacement/rebuilt hyd. pumps are available for super 55s. I know that a Vicker vein type pump is used. THANKS for any help!

AGCO can supply rebuilt kits for your pump - TAKE A VERY THICK WALLET!!! I found it cheaper to buy a used one - they will give you a differnt pump if the first one doesn't come up to specs as far as pressure goes - first one worked great! Got it from Stamm Equipment co. in MI. 231/792-6204 ask for Jake

You might also want to check at a Vickers distributor. I am sure they would have a good chance of having rebuild parts there. Vickers was bought by Eaton. www.eaton.com check under hydraulics for dealers.

Went there - tried that- no good - This is a pump that was ONLY made for Oliver and Vickers can not ( or will not) supply a pump or parts - All orginal parts come from Agco! You know the guys that want you to come see them WITH a fat wallet! Vickers has a whole catalog section of small vane pumps that are very much like but not the same. I spent a month checking that out to no avail!

Hmmm. I thought for sure I ran into a message once from someone who had a pump go bad on a 55 or 550, and they ended up with a new one from Vickers. Perhaps if you just took the pump down and matched it up? Just suggestions to try and save you some coin... Probably the only thing that went bad was the vanes, are they like any other vanes at the vickers dealer?
