We are trying to liquidate my dad's estate and need help pricing his tractor. It is an Oliver Series 1655, from 1973 with 2666 hours. The tires and frame are in good condition and it has a three point hydraulic hitch. It has a gas engine. Can you big tractor guys help give me a ball park figure of what this thing is worth? Thanks!

I bought '73 Oliver 1655 diesel in excellent with 2011 original 1owner hrs last year for $8000.
At the time I thought that was too high but after
researching the tractor I found out that was where
it should be. The 2000 Edition of Intertec's Used
Tractor Price Guide lists a '73 1655 gas average
price as follows; Fair condition $5000, Good $6400
Premium $7800. But whether or not Olivers are popular in your area of the country will greatly
effect those prices.

I bought a 1655 Diesel about 15 years ago for $7,000 and it would bring that today if I sold it with 7,400hrs and about 1,000hrs on a new engine.

The 1655 gas would have sold new for $10,000 and with those hours in good shape it should still sell upwards of $6,000.
