i found one those heaters like one of you suggested. but its only a 1000 watt.
it has the thermostat and flows from drain plug
to water elbow. question is ,on the 1655, is the 1000 watt enough or should i have them order me a 1500 watt? who is using which one out there?
my inclination is bigger is better but is there something i might be missing?

thanx jeff
ps is does look like a wd-40 can

It kinda depends on where you are and how cold it gets. I keep my tractors in a pole shed here in Virginia and it does not get below zero very much, so I can get by with the 1000 watt I have on the one tractor, but I prefer the 1500 watt ones that I have on the other ones. I will agree with you that bigger is better and hotter. Depends on how cold it is getting where you are and if the tractor is inside or out.

its in a pole barn but its been below freezing
since about dec 15th and closer to 10 deg
every night. the 1500 watt sounds like the choice

thanks jeff

I'd get at least the 1500 watter. I have a 2000-watter I put on my White 2-85 and that works just fine for these North Country winters.
good luck
