WHERE CAN I GET BUSHINGS TO REPAIR MY DIST. OR WHAT AFTERMARKET SOMETHING THAT WILL FIT. HELPING MY BUDDY DOCTOR HIS TRACTOR! THANKS GUYS

Most distributors when new were very good. The problem is they age and some not so well. Not everyone has good NAPA or Carquest stores in their area so switching to popular parts simplifies life. We can sell rebuilt distributors for a quite price difference than OEM sometimes, also for just a few bucks more than a tuneup kit an electronic ign. also makes life easier, especially in the weather conditions this winter. Why not change it to a Delco and then to a electronic ignition??

Why? All you get for your $400 (Agco dealer) is a distributor not any better than the Holley and it's missing the vacuum advance. I replace my points, condenser, rotor, and cap every year and it starts and runs great, even at -25!

Maybe you know this maybe you don't. As far as I know parts for the Holley distributor are difficult if not impossible to get (cap, points, etc. are available). White's cure for this problem was to offer a Motorola replacement distributor. It worked fine if you could stand the bill.
