Did Oliver ever make plows for Ford(not Dearborn or Ferguson)? Were they just Oliver plows painted Ford blue with Ford decals?

White also made bigger plows about the same time for Case.

White Farm Equipment buillt several pieces of equipment at South Bend for Ford. Those items included the disc harrow line and PlantAire planters as well as plows. I have photos of the equipment at the South Bend plant. At one time while visiting the White Farm Engineering Center at Libertyville, Il, I observed a Ford tractor engine on a test bed as Ford wanted to trade their engines for the equipment that they were purchasing from White. Appearently the tests did not meet White's needs. Mr Kaiser is also correct, the early oliver plows were sold by Ford for his Fordson tractors.

I think it was the 598 model that was painted blue and sold as a ford. I've seen a couple of these plows in a semi-mount version. I don't know of any other models being sold as ford, I haven't seen any at least. I think the 588 could be bought in a mounted configuration, but I don't know if any were sold as fords. I know that when the fordson came out oliver made some models to be used by those tractors due to the tractors poplularity. These plows were still sold by oliver.

Thanks for the picture! What's pulling it, a 1955? 2255?

It appears to be a 2050 or a 2150 that is pulling the front plow.Solid grille (no lights)means it is a 50 series. Outboard planetaries makes it a 2050 or 2150.

I know that White Farm Equip. made both semi-mounted and 3 pt. hitch plows for Ford. I have used them.
