I am looking for the side panel fasteners for a 1650, the ones with the knurled turning end with a 5/16 bolt working end. Any body make these still or should I just get some machined? Mine had nothing on them, but it looks like there should be something between the knurl and the thread where it passes through the panel. Was there some rubber washer assembly mine has lost, or did the panel just float around this shoulder? Local fastener shops laughed me out the door when I showed it to them, just like I expected them to.

Click on the link below and go to fasteners...they may have something you can use. If nothing else, you'll have fun looking.

Been a while since I messed with one. I am not sure if anything goes there. Last I knew you could still get them from White. If you don't have a local dealer call Plevna Implement at 1-888-882-3374. They are near Kokomo IN. They take credit cards and ship UPS.

I have the same problem with all my 50 series tractors. With nothing on the bolt it screws in too far past the threads. When unscrewed they don't stay with the side panel. Some i replaced with bolts, some i added a rubber gromet on the inside.
