I am a newcomer to tractor ownership and have recently obtained a 1965 Oliver 550 gas tractor. I do most of my own mechanical work and i am looking for an inexpensive service/repair manual and/or an operators manual for the above tractor. I also need to know what weight motor oil (ie 10w30 etc.) is recommended for this tractor. I am located in the northeastern corner of W.V. Any help anyone can give me would be very appreciated. Thanks. Rich

IT manuals sold at TSC, and Farm & fleet, aren't too expensive, or you can go to the site on the left of the column, and order online. Here in Indiana, I use straight 30 in the summer, and 10W30 in the winter. Use 85W90, or 110 in therear end. And just se universal hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic system.
