The front cowling on my 88 is welded to the radiator mounting brackets at the bottom. Is this supposed to be this way or did some overzealous welder get a hold of it.

Thanks,
Jim

Photo might help - from inside the nose. Radiator and it's frame rest on the channels and attach with 3 bolts on each side. Bottom on this nose has cracks that need welding.

The bottom mounting bracket is spot welded onto the sides where the radiator bolted to. Some do come loose and that is one way of putting it back on. The very bottom pan that covers the steering is spot welded also but also comes loose on some tractors.
