Anyone have a book with Oliver loader specs?

I am trying to locate a loader to fit my 1650, and was wondering if anyone could give me some info. I found what appears to be a 1610 in a boneyard, but it is on a farmall and has no badges. anyway to tell for sure that it (or any other loader) would fit on my 1650? Also, if any one knows lift heigth and lift pounds for a 1610 it would be appreciated. I am leaning towards trying to find an oliver loader because it seems it would be easier to make one work. seems difficult (for me, anyway) to determine what will fit my ollie, I seem to get either "you can make it fit..." or "buy a new one". Those answers don't help a tractor owner on a budget. I consider a little rework to be expected, unless I find one on a 1650. Any clues to these mysteries is appreciated.

There was also a 1710 loader that had a lift height of 134", with a breakout force of 6000 lb. and 4000 lb lift cap. at full height using the tractor hyd. system. The 1510, 1610 & 1710 loaders were purchased from Swartz Mfg. Lester Prairie, Minnesota. These were excellent loaders, same company that built many adjust front axles.

I have a manual for the 1610 loader. The lift capacity is 2000 lbs. with a breakaway lift of 3,700 lbs. The height based on a picture of a 1610 loader on a 1650 tractor is 106 inches. The mounting brackets in the rear are the same for 1550 thru 1850 tractors. It is different for farmall tractors but probably can be adapted. The front brackets look like they are close to the same being flat plates bolted to the tractor frame.

Thanks for the info, this loader may have spent its life on many different tractors, so the bracketry is still in question. as long as the fronts will bolt to my frame, the back appears easy enough to adapt. I was hoping for a lift closer to ten feet, but that is still good. Ryan

I have a 1610 that we bought new to put on an 1850 and now use on a 5600 Ford it was easy to convert with a couple of pieces of channel iron added. The lift height is 9 ft. and I will have to go to the shop and find the manual to get the lift capacity all I know is it will lift anything the front of the tractor will handle and it has been put to the test. I do know that there are several different cylinder combinations that were available on the 1610. I believe the loader was built by Swhertz which made Fords and others. If I can be of more help let me know.
