does a153 buda(cockshutt 30) have"wet sleeves"?
can they be pushed out of one block and reinstalled in anouther? is this a foolish idea? i have a strong engine with a cracked block as well as a very tired but sound one.

I have done that type of transplant before.
Just be certain to keep the piston and sleeve combination together AND keep the sleeve and piston oriented in the new block the way they were in the old block. in otherwords keep left and right, front and back the same. Clean EVERYTHING as good as you can and use new sealing rings everywhere.
Good luck
