Cockshutt 570 parts interchangeability

I'd like to come up with a 570 Super with 3 point-I'm told that there are very few around. I have found someone with the rear cover, rockshafts, pump, etc for 3 point on 550 (not the Oliver version)- will it fit on 570? How about interchangeability with the earlier 2 digit series (40 or 50)? Also, are all the 570 PTO's independent? Thanks for any help you can give.

Mike, I believe the 550 and 570 are quite different with respect to 3 point and hydraulics. The 550 has draft and position control while the 570 has only position control.The 550 pump sits atop the transmission while the 570 pump is inside the hydraulic casting cover. Draw links, lift rods, lift arms etc are almost all different part numbers between the two models. I wonder if 560 and 570 are the same? If so, it would increase the number of possible donor tractors.

I don't know about interchangeability with the round nose Cockshutts...can't afford 'em.

All 570 PTOs are independent. The Cockshutt book suggests some adaptability of Live PTO between 560, 570, 570Super and 40, 50 tractors.
