In my country cruising I came across what appears to be a large Oliver 4 wheel drive. it seems to be complete but not running. I've only seen one picture of an Oliver 4wd so I have no idea what it is. It was dark and the tractor set at an angle to me in 5' weeds, so I did not get a good look at it. I could not see the grille but it looked slanted. It appears to be center articulated. The steering wheel was the highest thing on the tractor other than the exhaust, which looked to run outside the hood. Any guesses? Worth looking at? judging by the collection fo equipment the person is not interested in selling, but you never know...

It should be a 2655. Underneth the green paint its a moline A4T1600. When white bought both companies they let oliver sell them, most have a white emblem on the grill. They are 147hp.I have one the biggest problem is getting it started. the one other problem is the valves, the old style ones break and damage the cylinder. New style valves stop this. Parts are getting hard to find since not maney engines where made in this size.About 800 tractors made in the 3 versions MM,oliver,White.
