I recently purchased an oliver 70 RC and I am looking for the shift pattern. It is a six speed with one reverse. All I know is first is in the front pattern, forward to the right and reverse is in the rear pattern, back and to the right. If anyone out there can post a diagram or directions I would sure appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Scott.

The shift pattern is double H like LazyHorse says except he describes what I believe is the 77 and 88 series. I am looking at my 70 manual and the 1st gear is in the forward range and to the right and forward, 2nd is to the left and to the rear, directly forward of 2nd is 5th, 3rd is in the high range or the rear range and to the right and forward, 4th is to the left and to the rear, 6th is directly ahead of 4th, reverse is to the right and to the rear. I hope this is as clear as mud. Delbert

If you send me your address, I will send you a diagram of the the shift pattern. I have a 1940 70 with 6 forward and 1 reverse.

If yours is like mine there should be 6 forward & 2 reverse gears, basically 2 H patterns one on top of the other R2 6 3 4

R1 5 2 1
Hope this helps
