any 77 owners have after-market 3-point hitches on their tractors?? are you happy with it?? how well do they work??

I have one of the 2 cylinder ones. Wayne's right, it will lift the tractor off the ground. My tractor has dual hydraulics, so I can just leave the 3-point connected all the time, and still use the other one.

There are a couple minor drawback. First, there is no draft control. I have a 16", 2-bottom plow, and I had to be on the lever all the time to get a consistant depth. I'm trying to rig a gauge wheel on it. The other thing is that the original swinging drawbar gets remounted onto the frame of the 3-point, but now it's about a foot further back. So now, the PTO shafts on the implements, (like my corn picker) are a foot short.

aftermarket 3 pt. work very will , some have two clyinder , with good tractor Hyd. can lift the tractor off the ground

If you (or anyone on the BB) have a picture of an aftermarket 3pt., can you post it? I am curious on how to build one for an Oliver 88 and possibly a MM ZB. JIm
