I recently bought a 550 with 588 loader and 508 backhoe. The tractor is in good shape but the pto seal leaks. Is there a bushing under the seal that needs replacing? Where is the best place online to get the seal?

There is a bearing and a seal. But the reversible pto is often loose and will wobble with a good bearing holding the outer piece.Try miabacs or klines for parts.

You mentioned Kline and Miabac for parts- I assume Kline is the Kline Oliver website, but who/ what is Miabac?

Isn't there a felt washer also? I know in the Super 55 there is. The AGCO dealers still have these parts too.

When I replaced the seals in my 550 last year, AGCO did not have the felt seal. I bought bulk felt from McMaster-Carr and made my own.

You can get both the seal and the felt washer at Everson Farm Equipment in Everson Wasington, 360-966-3561.
