What is the market value of the following oliver tractors. 1850 diesel factory 3 speed, poor 18.4-34 tires, good shape other wise, unknown hours runs like a top, 1000/540 pto. 1755 diesel poor tires about 4,300 hrs runs good, looks very good, 1000/540. 2255, 3208 cat, rebuilt 3 speed about 3,700 hrs questionable hyd pump, 20.8-38 radials 70% factory cab with air, needs muffeler, 540 pto only. Every thing works on all the tractors with the eception of the A/C on the 2255. Thanks, Adam

I am a certified chattel appraiser and I do alot of olivers. 1850 in rough shape is maybe in the area of 3000.00, the 1755 about 5500.00, and the 2255 if the engine has never been worked on the life of the engine might be in question you are looking at 7500.00 but if the engine is good or worked on in other words about 10,000.00 and that would be a good price subject to the engine. If you are afraid of the engine get a compression test on it and see what it reads. The 3208 is not the best engine to hold up but sometimes you can have one that never bothers for 6000 to 7000 hours but that is not the norm. bob

Here in our part of the world, all three of these models would bring 5-7 thousand. Had a 2255 with the 3208, stout old tractor. I, however am not too much of a fan of the 3208. Short lived, throw-away motor. Likes to break cranks.

In our area, 1850's go in the $4,000 to $6,000 range, assuming they are in good running condition. 1755's bring about $5000 to $7000 depending on condition. I don't know anything about the 2255. Kind of an oddball model, don't see many of them around.

It kinda depends on where you are located as to the prices you can get for these tractors. I have seen these tractors go anywhere from 4,000 if they are in rough shape up to 15000 if they are nice and have loaders or other options. I recently purchased an 1850 in rough shape for $2500. Now you can not do that every time but no one else wanted it. Are these tractors for sale??? I may be interested in some of them. Are there any pictures??
