A friend without a computer is looking for gas engine parts for an Oliver 550 / same as David Brown 900 ? I don't know exactly what they need just trying to find them a source that can be of some help . Thanks Tony Jacobs

If it is a 500 the name "DAVID BROWN" is cast in raised letters on the side of the crankcase.

I believe he must be looking for Oliver 500 parts- that model is the "David Brown" Oliver, I believe- the Oliver 550 is "all Oliver", I think. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

OK Mike and Mongo, If that's the case where do we find parts for it ? The owner of this machine is 85 years old , Maybe he thought it was a 550 not a 500 , but he did say it was the David Brown tractor , I do heavy equipment repair work and my hobby is Ford tractors never touched an Oliver tractor so I don't what it is . Thanks Tony Jacobs

Here is an address for a good Oliver page that has a link listing lots of Oliver parts dealers. If you can't find your parts through those dealers, email me and maybe I can find some more leads for you. Also, what parts are you looking for?
