have an engine locked up from a tractor i acquired
for a dollar. would like to have a rotation on the engine before i attempt to rebuild or drive the pistons out Has sit out for over two years and the exhaust not covered. is there a good pentrant that can be mixed with disiel fuel that maybe help to free the engine? i would hate to have to try and drive the pistons out prior to trying an altnative.help would be appreciated

Iv' had good luck in the past filling up the cylinders & crankcase with kerosene. This will penetrate 7 lubricate but takes some time. We had the most sucess with srtuck tractosletting them sit this way all winter, then unless there was a mechanical break they would usually come free with minor effort

LazyHorse will try your suggestion and use five gallons of jet a fuel which is the same as kerosene and one quart of marvel mystery oil and pour into the engine cylinders and crankcase.will advise you if i have any luck but cant wait all winter. i too impatient.
