I have a Oliver 1755 tractor that has broken the housing below the seat that the armlift hydraulics are located. It seems that the cylinder that lifts the arms extends too far.The connection hits the housing just behind the center link attachment and has broken the housing. Whenever the arms are raised all the way "up" the attachment hits. There does not seem to be a way to adjust the length of the cylinder. Is there a snap ring that should stop the extention of the shaft? If anyone has a clue here all help would be apprecitated! Warren

You need to adjust the linkage to the valve from the lever. Lift arms should have 1" free travel at the top when adjusted correct. The adjustment is on right side on the hand lever bottem, its a small bolt that you turn like a turnbuckel.
