I was looking through my oliver books and found a referance to an oliver 900 tractor. I never herd of one and can't find a listing anywhere. Apparantly it uses the same carborator kit as a 90. Other engine parts are the same. The service manuel is listed as 2 years older. I can not find a picture or horspower data anywhere. Has anyone seen one? or know anything?

I am not sure if this post is even current anymore, but my Uncle owns a working model of a 900. He attends the Charles City show someone refered to earlier. I can try to provide a picture if needed.

I have an oliver 900 industrial, on propane, with pto, I was informed that it was used to pull scrapers with.
I am looking for a steering colum, and would like to find out as much about this tractor as possible. I would like to restore it back to it's orginal state. Does anyone know of a salvage yard that might have an oliver 900, I could get a few parts off of.

I have a 900 Oliver Industrial tractor and it has a 6 cyl GMC 302 c.i. engine. The transmission is geared so it will just crawl. It has a 5 to 6 yard dirt scraper on behind. It will really load up the dirt and won't lug down the engine. We leveled some big hills down with this machine.

There was one at the show in Charles City a couple years back. I think it might have been the first year for that show, but I'm not sure. We have a parts book for the 90 series, and it includes the 900. The motor is the same, but the brakes are different, and I think it also uses a little different style of clutch. I also think some of them were equipped with duals, but I'm not sure.

Here you go, Larry.

I know Norm Stuckey from Dayton, Ohio, I think, had an Oliver 900 years back. He blew one of the 15x32 inch tires on it, and was real worried about finding another one, as they hadn't been made in many years.

The 900 was basically the same as a 4 cyl. 99. It had a section of frame added in the clutch area to make it a foot or so longer and had hyd brakes on it. It also had the seat moved up and forword with the fuel tank behind the driver.

Thanks for the info. An industrial model with the seat forward,you would not have to operate anything by hand. Not tested at nebeaska,mabe no pto. It all sounds logical. I dought i will ever find one.

The only reference I can find is that the 900 was an industrial model, made from 1946-1950. If you find one, it must be rare
