Does anyone know of a good article in the archives that details rebuilding of this carb? I believe it is a Marvel/Schebler carb. If no good archive article, does anybody have any good advice to share?
Where should I purchase the rebuild kit? Can I do this rebuild myself? What is involved?
Thank you in advance.

These Carbs are one of the simplest carbs that were built. Take it apart and clean thourghly. Look at the area where the seat for the fuel inlet sits. It must be clean and flat or fuel will leak by causing flooding. The other area is the condition of the throttle shaft area, loosness here will allow air to leak by, thus fuel mixture will be all messed up, you will have trouble adjusting the idle.
