Oliver 60 wide front end change

How much of a job would it be to put a wide front end on a 60? I've had Oliver tractors for 45 years and never changed a front end. Was there one wide front for the different years of the model 60? How much would a good one cost and where could I find one these days? I live in south central Michigan, would there be a good place near to start looking? Thanks, DeWayne

The "wide front end" was not produced until 1947, thus was only in production 2 years. All Oliver tractors (of that time peroid) that had the wide front end had serial numbers with a "B" behind them. The early tractors has the frame cross piece (for the rear of the wishbone) bolted to the frame, then it appears as the factory welded them to the frame in addition to the bolts. The tractor frames on the non wide front end tractors that I have observed do not have the frames dilled for the cross piece. Yes they are hard to find.
