Hoosier drill co/American seeding machine co

I have a old corn planter with stenciling on it showing "Hoosier Drill Co, Richmond In." I have been told this co was bought out by American Seeding Machine Co. In reading "About Oliver" on this Web site, it states Oliver was formed by the merger of several companys including American Seeding Co. Would anyone have information to share about the Hoosier drill co and possibly what time frame this Drill I have would of been made? The best I can describe this drill is it has a large steel wheel on the front with a metal box for the grain and right behind it a wooden box with a lid. The lid is where the Stenciling is "Hoosier Drill Co, Richmond In" The drill has wooden handles. Thanks for any information.

In 1903 Superior Drill Company,Hoosier Drill Company, alomg with Bickford And Huffman,The Empire Drill Company,Brennan and Company(Later A.C.Evans Company)merged to become the American Seeding Company which later merged with Hart Parr,Oliver,Nichols and Shepard to become the Oliver Corp in 1929.
The Oliver corp gave alot of letters to Indiana University which you may be allowed to see,other than that I have seen the drill you are talking about but I do not know anything about it.http://www.indiana.edu/~liblilly/lilly/mss/text/oliver.asc this is what I found while surfing the web it states what was givin to the school.Good luck.
