Hi, I have a 1944 RC 60 that I recently restored. The original red was found only on the nose of mine.

I also have a question of the red stripes that go between the two yellow fan screensit says oliver on it, and continues on the cover that covers the radiator cap. I've seen some with red there and some with it all painted green. Do you have any idea what is right? Thanks Brian

Brian, I painted my '48 r.c. 60 last year... (it's the one for sale a couple of postings before yours). Anyway, mine just has the red on the nose... I can't remember who told me the '48's were that way, but that's what I was told. I have a picture of a '45 r.c. 60 which has the red stripe all the way back. Good luck!!
