Does any one have any information on a cab that fits a oliver 70, worth, production, and so on.

Currently have a 1946 70 with a Raby cab which we are in the process of repainting to the correct Oliver colors. There is a picture on our website in the "new" Oliver colors. I have more pirtures if people are interested. Plan on having the tractor ready for the Pioneer Power Show at LeSueur, MN at the end of August. This is if everything goes according to plan.

The only place I saw any information about the cab for the Oliver 70 was in "A Guide to Hart-Parr, Oliver and White Farm Tractors 1901-1996" by Larry Gay. I have not found out any other mention of this type of cab in any other reference.

The cabs were manufactured by Raby Mfg. Co. of Table Grove, IL. I've got one sitting in the barn that I have had for several years. I did a little research on them when I got mine and didn't have any luck with production #'s. I was in contact with Reba Raby, the founder's widow.

I haven't seen one sell for a long, long time. Back when I did it was something like $500?? They are not worth anything near what the MM R cabs are bringing. Part of the reason is that I don't think many people know much about them and they weren't actually made by Oliver although they were sold by them.

I have the frame of a cab on my 18-27 row crop. Is it possible that it was also manufactured by the Raby Co.? If so, I would be interested in finding out more about it, including what the top and sides were made out of? Thanks for any info.
