Hydraulic pump question (for 77 and 88)

Ok three different style pumps are out there.I think a 66 tractor takes it own pump?
Do the 77 and 88 share the same pump?If they are different,is it because of size or?
What pump is used on a early(1953)oc-6 crawler?
Can a top lever(also dual valve) pump from a super tractor be used in a oc-6? Thanks

Highboyford , The "77" , "88" , Super "77" , and Super "88" all share the same pumps. The OC-6 , I believe is the same engine as the "77". I'm not sure about the drive train. If I were to put a hydraulic unit on an OC-6 , I think that I would put the #2 unite on. It has at least one handle for manual operation. Of cource the #3 unite would be really nice. But I'm not sure if it would bolt up or not. But I think it will. I'm 99.9 % sure that my uncle has the number 3 unite on his Super "77". I would have to check into that. Let us know how you make out. Also , your right , the "66" has it's own pump. Scott

Hi guys:
I've got two fleetline 77s with #3 units, one is a 1950, the other a '51. Could these be retrofits to replace the mechanical lift? Also, the 1951 has the block off plate under the distributor where a tach drive would go. I've seen newer tractors without the plate. Is this normal, or is it a replacement engine. Did Oliver match serial numbers? Thanx in advance
