Oliver made two front mount cultivators to fit super tractors and newer models. I know they made four row wide models. Did they make one to fit six row 30 inch? Is there an add on section for the wider machine. I need one for some nursery crops we grow. We need to cultivate before the crop comes up. A rear mount does not work as well. Hoping to find a front for our 1650. Thanks in advance. Nick

Nick did you look in the Wisconsin farmer?A 12 row fold culitvator is listed I am assuming that this is a front-mount but it does not say.Also guess it is set up for wide rows but it should be able to adjust down to narrow spacing,plus look at all the spare parts you will have:)

I have seen Oliver 12 row folding cultivators but only in the rear mount. Wouldent a 12 row front mount be alot of weight for the front of the tractor?

Hi Adam,from what I can tell wheels are mounted onto the frame to help with the weight.I bet they were alot of fun to move though.
East of Janesville Wi I saw a front mount 12 row I.H cultivator on a 806 IH and it looked huge.It for sure had wheels to help because I was upclose and checked it out.Also the land is nice and flat and makes it easy to move the large machines around.

We have a newer style four row that we converted to a six. I don't really know how my dad did it. I know he bolted some extra rows onto the end. I'm pretty sure they made a six row in the same style. The ones designed for the later series had a square beam instead of an egg shaped beam. Both cultivators should have the same mountings I think.
