1650-D Clutch Hydrapower

My book says to use Type A fluid in the Hydrapower, however I use Type F Transmission fluid. Is this satisfactory?

Removed the engine for OH. I noticed some grooves cut on the inside of the bell housing so I looked at the clutch disc and it shows the very outside edge has rubbed in places. The pilot brg is good but my hydrapower shaft had some wear on it where she slides into the pilot brg. I order a new shaft & brg and installed it. I also ordered a new PTO Drive hub and shaft (splines are gone). My question is, does the clutch disc actually fit that tight into the bell housing that it will rub? This is not a standard disc, it is the metallic disc with triangle pads on it. The center of the disc looks fine and none of the pads are loose. Is there something else I should look at while she's torn down?

I am aware of one GM automobile automatic transmission that was ruined because the owner used type "F" (Ford) fluid in it. They are not compatible. The proper fluid for your tractor is type "A" (DEXRON).

Are your engine bearings loose? I have seen this(marks) too, when clutch comes apart or something gets trapped between flywheel and the outside. The button clutch is the larger and stronger of the ones avaible. Yours may be an infield upgrade.
