Need Value of Oliver Sickle Mower

We had an Oliver 415 hydralic sickle mower damaged by a tree in a storm. Our insurance wants to know value and replacement cost. Any suggestions?

Joe.... I don't think it's necessarily a representative price, but go to "ironsearch.com" and look for the "cockshutt 415 mower/sickle"... It's up in Canada. Looks pretty good. $1900 Canadian. I don't know what the exchange rate is, but you can check on that yourself. ANyway, it's a starting place for ya...The reason you're searching for Cockshutt instead of Oliver is that Oliver bought them out about 1962 and everything Cockshutt became "Oliver". The old Cockshutt 315 (1961) became the new Oliver 415 in 1962... But I'm sure you knew that (I just love history) Now I've got a problem that you might help me with. I have a friend who has an Oliver 415 trailing sickle mower (he just LOVES that thing) and he needs a part for it. The part he needs is a "wheel" that is connected to the cutter bar by the pittman arm. This "wheel" is 8 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick, with the "hub" being right at 2 3/4 inches long. This thing is heavily counterweighted and it looks like MOST of the wheel's weight is on one side. Anyway, the hub on his is busted and there's a chunk of it gone. I am searching high and low to help him find a part. If you know of anyplace he might find one I sure would appreciate you letting me know. Not trying to be cold, but I thought that if your machine was damaged beyond repair & if you were willing, you might consider selling him your wheel?? It sure would get him out of a mess. We won't quibble over the price - name something in the ballpark & it's yours. I am including my contact information below:
