1600 3 Point Question

I am thinking about buying a 1600 gas WF. One thing I was curious about was whether the 3 point hitch has down-pressure or not. My Ford Jubilee doesn't, which is a pain with a posthole digger. I also looked at a Farmall 560 which does have down-pressure on the fast-hitch. I'm looking for an inexpensive way to double my horsepower !

Thanks in advance

30 minutes worth of bracket building and a post hole digger will work fine. I removed the Bail on my 1650, built a bracket, and now I use a normal Top Link. It mounts right above the PTO Clutch Housing and bolts to the same holes the bail use to pin to.

A 50.00 cylinder and a little hose makes a nice power down for a hole digger. Mount the cylinder between the Top Rail of the digger and the other end to the Link that goes down to your lift arms. It causes it to scissor down and is effective. They sell kits but its too easy to build.

Oliver 1600 does not have down pressure. Most post hole diggers are nearly imposible to hook up to one.
