Wow, you almost doubled Mark's suggested price just a few messages down. That would need to be one mint machine! My book lists them at about $1500 tops at auction, they cost less than $4000 new.

Not that I mind anyone going for the gold, normally I wouldn't say a word, but you notice at the top of this forum it says no for sale ads, so you'll probably get flamed & all that rubbish. To bad you didn't just post it in the classifieds like you were supposed to.

Well Paul thank you for pointing that out to me. I guess I goofed. However, why would I ask what you call Mark's suggested price for a machine that has a high collector value? Would you ask $1,500.00 for it? I doubt it. I will post it in the proper place, Thank You.

I was a bit out of joint last night about other things in my life & let my mind wander on the internet. I didn't mean to blow up about anything. Sorry. & thanks for the e-mail.

Its sure easy to do isn't it! It can be very bothersome. Kind of like talking to my kids. Sometimes no matter what I tell them, they go ahead and do whatever they will do. I try and think back to when I was a kid, when I'd do something after my Dad explicitly told me not to...it still hurts! Now we're in a "kindler & gentler" society. Hope it sells in the classifieds.

Gosh, Oliver guys, you have so few hits I would think you would welcome the first chance at a rare orchard model. You need all the topics you can muster to bring more interest to your site. This reminds me of the small-town policeman who was giving parking meter tickets even when the rest of main street was empty!

Well, he's better than me, I popped over just to complain about a guy! Sheez. Anyhow he mentioned the tractor sold in an e-mail, I'll leave out the details.

At least I do own an Oliver Super 77, so if I quit ranting here, I could belong. :) I live by New Ulm MN which had a very popular dealer & lots of Oliver fans until the crash. An uncle of mine has 22 or so Olivers in his collection.
