Oliver Super 55 Aux Hydraulics

Installing a snow blower on Super 55 with a hydraulic chute. Can this tractor operate the aux hydraulic syatem by removing three bolt cover on the right side of hyd system and tapping into the hyd ports from the pump. If use an open center valve to operate the system is there any other way to hook this up. I know there is a proper aux valve made by Oliver to do this but if we cannot find one can another valve be used if piped the proper way? Any info would be of assistance.

I did something like what you asking and it worked OK. I did not tap into the ports but made an adapter from 3/8" plate and brazed some threaded hydraulic fittings to it. I used
an open center valve.

Just a question, but are you mounting the snow on the front or the rear of the tractor? I've rear mounted blowers on New Hollands and such, I never thought of trying it with my Oliver.
