Help w/ oil pressure Oliver 88

I'm asking again - does anyone out there have any information regarding oil pressure on an Oliver 88? My father-in-law is restoring one that has been the family for years but is having problems getting oil to the top end (I hope you guys understand that!!!). Anyway, there is oil pressure,althought it's low. The other question I had is, which head bolt does the oil come up through? I told dad that I could find out the information he needed on this site, don't let me down. Thanks for any and all help - I've enjoyed reading through the messages.

Right rear is the oil bolt hole. Oil is metterd by the rear crankshaft bearing,it must be instaled correctly or no oil will flow.

Linda , On the right side of the engine , just behind the timing gear cover , you will see a hex head about 3/4"---7/8" in size.Unscrew that hex head.It is the cover to the oil relief plunger.Pull out the spring and plunger cup.Clean out the barrel that the plunger cup and spring had come out of.Check the condition of the plunger cup and spring.Replace if neccessary.At one time , Oliver offered a longer spring. A longer spring would push harder on the cup , which in return would give higher oil pressure.At operating speed , the oil pressure should be some where around 15 pounds. Scott

Ijust read the answer that larry gave your first post and he gave the correct position of the drilled head bolt. Rear corner spark plug side.
